Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 25, 2026
Rainy weather has worsened the conditions for harvesting corn, potatoes, and root crops. The recent intense rains in the northeastern half and in a number of districts in the northwest of the country have caused waterlogging of the soil. Tillage and sowing of winter grain crops in fields with heavy moisture are difficult. In the rest of the republic, where the topsoil is well moistened, agrometeorological conditions for field work are satisfactory.
In the coming week, as the rains stop, agrometeorological conditions for field work will improve.
