Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 21, 2021
Winter crops sown in the first decade of September have sprung up. In most of the fields observed, winter rape is undergoing leaf formation. The past intense rains in most of the territory of the republic caused waterlogging of the soil. Moderate moistening of the topsoil is observed in most of the Brest region, in a number of districts of Minsk, Gomel and Vitebsk regions. Here the agrometeorological conditions for sowing grain crops, harvesting potatoes, corn, and vegetables are satisfactory. In the coming days waterlogging will continue in many parts of the country.
