In recent days, the warm weather for this time and good moisture supply in most areas have prolonged the vegetation of winter crops. According to the latest data, half of the observed fields of grain crops are being tillered. This is the optimal phase for overwintering. On crops produced at a later date – in late September-early October, the third leaf and seedlings are noted, and on the areas where sowing was carried out in the second half of October, grain germination is observed.
In early November, due to the expected decrease in temperature, the vegetation of winter crops will slow down. The plants will undergo hardening.
