Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 25, 2024
The warm weather in recent days and the abundance of soil moisture contribute to the improvement of the agrometeorological situation. Shoots and a third leaf are noted in the observed fields of cereals, and nodular roots are being formed. Tillering is observed in areas sown before September 15-20, only in some observation areas are until September 25-30. Grain germination is underway in late October crops. Visual assessments of the condition of crops are good, and are satisfactory in some areas of the Vitebsk and Gomel regions.
In the near future, the vegetation of winter crops will continue. The agrometeorological conditions for the completion of harvesting, carrying out agrotechnical measures for the care of winter crops and raising the chill will be favorable.
