Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 22, 2026
According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture, productive moisture reserves in the main areas are good. In the extreme northern districts of the Vitebsk region and in places in the north-east of the republic, elevated moisture reserves persist on heavy soils. In a number of southern districts of the country, the content of productive moisture in the soil increased but remained satisfactory at the time of determination.
In the near future, the development of winter cereal crops will continue; the predominance of warm weather and good moisture supply will promote the emergence of seedlings in late October sowings. The expected precipitation will replenish the moisture content in the soil.
