Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 21, 2022
According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture, the reserves of productive moisture on the main arrays of winter grain crops are good. According to some weather stations, increased moisture reserves remain on heavy soils in the northeastern half of the republic.
According to the latest data, tillering of winter grain crops is observed in areas sown mainly in the first half of September. Shoots and a third leaf are observed on the remaining arrays. In late October crops, grain germination is underway. In the near future, the vegetation of winter crops will continue, more active plant development will take place in the south-western half of Belarus.
