Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 19, 2022
The warm weather in mid-October contributed to the development of winter crops. According to the latest data, the third leaf is marked in many observed fields of winter grain crops, nodular roots are being formed. Tillering began on plots sown in the southern half of the republic until mid–September, in the northern - in the first decade of September. Winter crops sown in the last five days of September, in the south-west of the country and in early October, sprouted. Grain germination is taking place on October crops.
In recent days, the weather has allowed us to maintain good rates of harvesting and winter tillage. In most areas, the topsoil is well moistened. In the near future, due to the cooling, the vegetation will slow down. Due to the expected frosts, it is not necessary to leave the excavated agricultural products in the fields.
