Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 10, 2025
Passing rains moisten the soil, but not everywhere. In a large part of the country, at a depth of 10 centimeters, the soil remains poorly moistened, which delays the germination of grain, the emergence of seedlings and the further development of winter crops. Good moistening of the top layer of soil is noted in the south-east and in a number of areas of the western half of the republic.
In the near future, the expected precipitation will replenish the moisture reserves in the soil. Unstable weather will complicate field agricultural work. Due to the frosts expected in the coming week, you should not leave the dug up agricultural products unsheltered in the fields.
