Overview of agrometeorological situation of November 17, 2021
For a more detailed clarification of the state of winter crops, a route survey was carried out before the start of wintering. Due to the prevailing agrometeorological conditions in autumn and the elongation of sowing, tillering of winter grain crops (the optimal phase for overwintering) is observed on much smaller areas than in previous years. The most developed crops are in the Brest and Grodno regions, and the least in the Gomel region, here about a quarter of crops stopped growing in the "sprouting" phase, there are fields where only grain germination is noted.
As the temperature decreases, winter crops undergo a hardening stage.
