Overview of agrometeorological situation of March 28, 2023
The predominance of very warm weather in the third decade of March contributed to the resumption of vegetation of winter crops. In most of the southern regions and in the west of the republic, as well as in a number of districts of the central region, the upper 10-centimeter soil layer reached a moderately moist state, processing, fertilizing, fertilizing winter crops were carried out here, farms started sowing early spring crops. At the same time, strong and excessive moistening of the upper soil layer remained in most of the country.
The cold snap and heavy precipitation will soon suspend the maturation of the soil and the conduct of field agricultural work. On the morning of March 28, a snow cover was formed again on a significant territory of the republic, in the western regions there is a freezing of the upper soil layer.
