Overview of agrometeorological situation of June 2, 2022
The passing rains replenished the soil moisture content. In the southern part of the country, where there was already a lack of moisture on light soils in mid-May, the moisture supply of agricultural crops improved. According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture in most areas, the moisture reserves are good. Only in some observational areas in the Brest region, the reserves of productive moisture remained satisfactory. In a number of areas in the north-east of the country, intense precipitation has led to waterlogging. In the first ten days of June, a good moisture supply of agricultural crops will remain in most areas.
