Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 29, 2025
The passing rains are worsening the conditions for drying grain and conducting harvest operations. The weather does not allow farms to reach high harvesting rates and overwatering of the soil complicates the use of machinery in the fields. The cereal crops in the fields are showing waxy and full maturity. The winter barley harvest is nearing completion in the farms.
Until the end of July, due to expected rains, the conditions for harvesting will remain quite challenging, but some improvements in the agro-meteorological situation are anticipated at the beginning of August.
