Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 22, 2025
The rains that have taken place in recent days, and in some places heavy downpours have caused waterlogging and complicated harvesting operations, especially on heavy soils in the northern region of the country. There is lodging on crops, the development of diseases, and increased contamination. At the same time, in some areas of the southern part of Belarus, due to the uneven distribution of precipitation, the lack of soil moisture persists. In areas with sufficient moisture, quite favorable agrometeorological conditions develop for the growth and development of corn, root crops, and the regrowth of grasses after mowing. In the near future, as the rains pass, a further increase in soil moisture reserves is expected.
