Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 2, 2024
The lack of precipitation against the background of hot weather in the last decade of June contributed to a decrease in moisture reserves in the soil, the moisture supply of crops deteriorated. According to the results of instrumental determination of humidity in many areas of the southern half of Belarus and in the north-west of the country, the reserves of productive moisture in the soil, primarily under cereals and cruciferous crops, herbs, turned out to be insufficient.
In the coming days, after the rains and the weakening of the heat, the agrometeorological situation will improve. An increase in soil moisture content will contribute to the formation of crop yields.
