Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 19, 2024
According to the latest data, winter grain crops (rye, wheat, triticale) in a significant part of the territory of the republic are fully ripe. In spring cereals the filling of grain is completed, maturation is underway, and waxy ripeness has set in. Mainly spring barley in the southern part of the country, in some western and central regions, full ripeness is noted. The moisture content of grain on ripening crops ranges from 12-17% to 20-25%, in some places it still reaches 30%. The mass of 1000 grains, reduced to standard humidity, according to incoming information, is mostly good.
In the next two days, mostly without precipitation, the weather will facilitate harvesting operations. However, in the future, the expected rains may again reduce the working time of the combines.
