Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 17, 2025
Due to the prevailing agrometeorological conditions this year, the development of corn is two to three weeks behind last year's dates. The sum of effective temperatures accumulated since May is above +10С turned out to be less than the usual values. In July, heat supply improved somewhat, especially in the eastern regions of the republic, which, against the background of sufficient moisture in the main areas, contributes to the growth of green mass. According to the latest data, leaf formation continues in corn, and the formation of reproductive organs has begun in a number of areas in the west of the republic and in the east of the Minsk region. In the near future, quite satisfactory agrometeorological conditions for the growth and development of corn will remain.
