Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 15, 2025
Agrometeorological conditions contribute to an increase in the duration of grain filling, which will favorably affect the fullness of the ear. According to the latest observational data, grain filling continues in winter crops (wheat, rye, triticale), and maturation has begun in some areas, with waxy ripeness. The crops of winter barley are fully ripe, and mass harvesting of this crop is underway. Visual assessments of the condition of winter crops are mostly good. However, in a number of observation sites, the occurrence of crops was noted. Due to the prevailing agrometeorological conditions, this year the development of winter crops is one to two weeks behind last year's dates.
In the near future, the expected rains of varying intensity will restrain the ripening and drying of grain, complicate harvesting operations. Precipitation with wind can increase the area of crops.
