Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 6, 2023
The agrometeorological conditions for the start of winterization of winter crops are developing satisfactorily. A fairly high snow cover in most of Belarus has been established on slightly frozen and thawed soil, which can increase the consumption of nutrients by plants. After the last snowfall, according to the latest observation data, the height of the snow cover in the fields increased.
The winter weather pattern will continue in the near future. Low temperatures, which pose a danger to wintering crops, are not expected.
