Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 28, 2021
In the third decade of December, overwintering of winter crops takes place under conditions of a low temperature regime. At the same time, there are no low temperatures that pose a threat to winter grain crops.
According to the results of observations, the soil temperature at the depth of the tillering node of winter cereals is mainly in the range of -1 -5°С, in some places in the east of Belarus in the coldest nights it dropped to -6 -7°С. For winter rapeseed, as the least frost-resistant crop, in some regions of the republic in elevated areas due to insufficient snow cover, the possibility of frost damage is not excluded.
In late December-early January, agrometeorological conditions for winter crops will be satisfactory.
