Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 24, 2024
In the second decade of December, the agrometeorological conditions for winter crops were satisfactory. Winter crops still have not reached a state of physiological rest. In a significant part of the country there is small snow cover, the height of which generally does not exceed 4 cm, in places in the far east and north-west of Belarus is up to 6 cm. In most parts of the republic the soil remains thawed. Slight freezing of the upper soil layer is observed in the eastern part of the country.
The agrometeorological situation will not change significantly until the end of the month, and no dangerous events are expected for winter crops.
