Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 16, 2021
Agrometeorological conditions for the beginning of wintering of agricultural crops are satisfactory. According to the latest observation data, in most of the republic, the snow cover has collapsed under the influence of thaw weather, only in some areas, mainly in the north and east of the country, snow remains from 1 cm to 5 cm high.As of December 15, a slight freezing of the upper soil layer or soil remained thawed. Only in some places in the west and east of the republic was the lower limit of soil freezing at a depth of more than 10 cm.
Due to the expected drop in temperature for the coming week, the agrometeorological situation on the territory of Belarus may become more complicated.
