Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 12, 2024
In the past period of the calendar winter satisfactory agrometeorological conditions have been maintained. The predominance of warm weather for this time does not allow winter crops to find a state of physiological rest. According to the latest observations there is practically no snow in the fields, in places there is a snow cover the height of which does not exceed 1-2 cm, only in the far east of the country it is up to 6 cm. At night there is a slight freezing of the upper soil layer.
In the near future the expected decrease in the temperature regime should not pose a danger to winter crops. The plants will undergo a hardening process.
