Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 12, 2023
The agrometeorological conditions for the beginning of winterization of winter crops are not developing in the best way. According to the latest observations high snow cover remains in the fields in most of the territory of the republic. Only in the south-west of the country, the height of the snow cover is small. The soil temperature at the depth of the tillering node of winter crops significantly exceeds the optimal values.
In the near future, under the influence of unstable weather, the snow cover in the fields will be compacted. The expected elevated temperature regime will not allow winter crops to gain a state of deep physiological rest.
