Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 9, 2024
Unusually warm weather without precipitation contributes to the drying and warming of the soil. According to the latest observational data, the upper 10-centimeter soil layer in most of Belarus is in a moderately moist state. This allows us to maintain high rates of field work and sowing of early spring crops. There are good conditions for sowing sugar beet, flax, and spring rapeseed. In winter crops, tillering continues and the exit into the tube is noted. The stem began to grow on winter rapeseed crops, the appearance of inflorescences was noted in places. Spring grain crops are germinating, and seedlings appear in early crops. In the near future, the expected increased temperature regime will contribute to the regrowth of herbs and the further development of crops.
