Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 7, 2023
Agrometeorological conditions on the territory of Belarus are gradually improving. In Brest, Grodno, in a number of districts of Gomel and on light soils in places in the Minsk region, the top layer of soil has dried to a moderately moist state. This made it possible to intensify field agricultural work. The soil temperature has increased at a depth of 10 cm. In Vitebsk, Mogilev and in many districts of the Minsk region, due to waterlogging, a difficult agrometeorological situation remains for tillage, the beginning of sowing of early spring crops and carrying out agrotechnical measures for the care of winter crops.
In the coming week, weather conditions will contribute to the drying and warming of the soil.
