Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 14, 2023
The agrometeorological conditions for the germination of grain and the emergence of early spring crops, the development of winter crops and the regrowth of perennial grasses are quite favorable. The average soil temperature at a depth of 10 cm is +8 +11 ° C. The topsoil in most of Belarus is in a moderately moist state, which allows for tillage, fertilization, and sowing of spring crops. In the east of the country and in many districts of the Vitebsk region, strong soil moisture remains. Carrying out field agricultural work on such areas is still difficult.
In the near future, unstable weather will affect the pace of field work, as well as the drying of waterlogged soils.
