Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (27 September - 3 October 2018)
The state institution "The Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring" informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 27 September to 3 October 2018.
In the air of Mogilev (Pervomayskaya street) there was a short-term exceedance of quality standards on phenol by 1,4 times on September, 27. The west wind of 5 m/s had prevailed, relative humidity was about 52%, air temperature – +15,8°С. Average daily concentration of particulate pollutants with fractions up to 10 micron was about 1.2 MPC in the air of Krupskaya street on October, 2. The south wind and south-east wind of 3-4 m/s had prevailed, relative humidity ranged from 83% to 96%, air temperature – from +3,9°С to +12,3°С.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street) there was an exceedance of quality standards on particulate pollutants with fractions up to 2,5 micron (average daily concentration 1,2 MPC) on October, 2. The mild south wind had prevailed, relative humidity ranged from 78% to 92%, air temperature – from +7,0°С to +13,8°С.
