Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (15 August - 21 August 2019)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 15 to 21 August 2019.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street), average daily concentration of PP-2,5 exceeded quality standards by 2 on August, 19. The wind of various directions prevailed, windless conditions, south wind, air temperature ranged from +12,6°С to +28,0°С, relative humidity – from 38 to 91%. Small (by 1,1) exceedance of quality standards on PP2,5 was registered on August, 20. The wind of various directions prevailed, windless conditions, north wind, air temperature ranged from +16,6°С to +26,4°С, relative humidity – from 64% to 82%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 exceeded quality standards by 1,3 on August, 21. The south wind prevailed, air temperature ranged from +18,6°С to +30,9°С, relative humidity – from 34% to 90%.
In the air of Pinsk, maximum concentration of formaldehyde was 2,5 MPC (19:00, August 20) in the area of Tsentralnaya street, in the area of Zavalnaya and Krasnoarmeyskaya streets – 1,9 MPC (07:00, August 19 and 01:00 August 20 respectively).
In the air of Orsha (Pakgauznaya street), there were exceedances of quality standards on formaldehyde by 1,6 and 1,4 at 01:00 on August 15 and 19 respectively.
In the air of Mogilev, there was small (by1,1) exceedance of quality standards on nitrogen dioxide at 07:00 on August, 16. The soft north-east wind prevailed, air temperature was +13,0°С, relative humidity – 93%. There was a short-term exceedance of quality standards on formaldehyde by 1,1 in the area of Pervomayskaya street on August, 19. Concentration of carbon monoxide was 1,6 MPC in the area of Cheluskintsev street on August, 20. The soft west wind prevailed, air temperature was +23,2°С, relative humidity – 76%.
