Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (12 March - 18 March 2020)

State institution "Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring" informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from March 12 to March 18 2020.

In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street) average daily concentration of PP-2,5 MPC was 1,8 on March 12. The west, the south-west wind of 3-5 m/s, prevailed, air temperature ranged from +3,5°С to +12,4°С, relative humidity ranged from 43% to 85%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 MPC exceeded air quality standards by 1,3 in the detached area on March 13. The north, north-west wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -4,4°С to +1,9°С, relative humidity ranged from 36% to 78%. In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street) average daily concentration of PP-2,5 MPC was 3,1 MPC on March 16 and 17. The south, south-west wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, wind of various directions prevailed, calm, air temperature ranged from -4,9°С to +8,0°С, relative humidity ranged from 31% to 71%. The south wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed on March 17 in the first half of the day, the north-west wind of 1-2 m/s prevailed in the second half of the day, air temperature ranged from +3,9°С to +6,3°С, relative humidity ranged from 42% to 77%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 MPC exceeded air quality standards by 2,3 on March 18. The south-west wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +0,3°С to +12,9°С, relative humidity ranged from 38% to 92%.

In the air of Gomel (Barykin street) average daily concentration of solid particles up to 10 microns (PP-10) exceeded air quality standards by 1,2 on March 12. The south-west wind of 3-7 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +2,8°С to +12,3°С, relative humidity ranged from 36% to 90%. Average daily concentration of PP-10 MPC exceeded air quality standards by 1,25 in the detached area on March 13. The south-west wind of 2-6 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +4,5°С to +10,0°С, relative humidity ranged from 36% to 78%. Average daily concentration of PP-10 MPC exceeded air quality standards by 2,8 on March 16. The south, south-west wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -6,0°С to +7,5°С, relative humidity ranged from 25% to 83%. In the air of Barykin street average daily concentration of PP-10 was 2,7 MPC. The south, south-west wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, wind of various directions, calm, air temperature ranged from -0,9°С to +5,3°С, relative humidity ranged from 39% to 94%.

In the air of Brest (Severnaya street) maximum one-time concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded air quality standards by 1,1 at 24:00 on March 17. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm, weft, air temperature was +1,7°С, relative humidity was 93%.
