Overview of the hydrological situation of September 20, 2018
As at September 20, there is a decrease of water levels and their even running almost all over the country, there is a small (1-4 cm per day) increase of water levels only in some areas of the Zapadnaya Dvina, the Berezina, the Sozh and the Pripyat as well as of some little rivers.
Unfavourable conditions for river transport remain on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, on the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod. Water levels here are below the marks that limit shipping.
Water temperature in the rivers and water bodies is 11-20°С.
In the coming days, there is no any expected significant changes. Water temperature will gradually decrease.
