Overview of hydrological situation of September 30, 2019
As at September 30, due to precipitations the increase of water levels with the intensity 1-45 cm per day is observed along the whole length of the Neman, the Berezina, the Sozh and the Pripyat, on certain areas of the Zapadnaya Dvina and on its affluents, and on the affluents of the Zapadnyi Bug as well. Small (1-2 cm per day) decrease of water levels is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina on site Polotsk-Verkhnedvinsk, on the Viliya near Stechitsy village and on the Dnieper near Zhlobin.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, on the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 6°С to 15°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, increase of water levels will remain on most of the rivers.
