Overview of hydrological situation of August 5, 2019
As at August 5, decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-7 cm per day is observed almost everywhere. Increase of water levels is observed only on certain affluents of the Zapadnyi Bug, the Zapadnaya Dvina, the Sozh and on the Dnieper near Rechitsa.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, on the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 11°С to 22°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, decrease of water levels will remain on most of the rivers with the result that water level will be below the mark that limits shipping on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk.
