Overview of hydrological situation of August 26, 2019
As at August 26, increase of water levels with the intensity 1-7 cm per day is observed on the Viliya, the Zapadnaya Dvina on site Ulla-Polotsk, the Dnieper on site Orsha-Mogilev, on the Berezina on site Bobruysk-Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Gomel. Decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-12 cm per day is observed on the remain areas of the rivers as well as on the Neman, the Zapadnyi Bug and the Pripyat.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, the Berezina near Bobruysk and on the Sozh near Gomel, Krichev and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 12°С to 24°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, decrease of water levels will be observed on the rivers, water temperature won’t change significantly.
