Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on September 17, 2026

According to the data of the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Grodno, Vitebsk, and Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Gomel and Mogilev are 0.11 µSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.47 µSv/h and 0.17 µSv/h, which corresponds to the established long-term values and is due to the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
