According to data from the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.11 μSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the city of Bragin and the city of Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.47 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, which corresponds to established long-term values and is due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
The results of gamma radiation dose rate measurements on the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are presented on the website https://rad.org.by.
