According to the data of the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel – 0.11 μSv/h, which corresponds to the natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.45 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
The results of gamma radiation dose rate measurements at the radiation monitoring network of Belhydromet are presented on the website: https://rad.org.by.
