According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control, and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, and Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.11 µSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.46 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, respectively. These correspond to the established long-term values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
The measurement results of gamma radiation dose rates at the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are available on the website https://rad.org.by.
