Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on May 15, 2026

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, and Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.11 μSv/h, in Gomel are 0.12 μSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.45 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to established long-term values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
