According to the data from the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, and Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Mogilev – 0.11 μSv/h, which correspond to the natural background radiation levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.46 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the long-term established values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
The measurement results of the gamma radiation dose rate at the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are available on the website: https://rad.org.by.
