According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno and Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel – 0.11 μSv/h, in Mogilev – 0.13 μSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.46 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h respectively, which correspond to the long-term established values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
The measurement results of gamma radiation dose rates from the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are available on the website: https://rad.org.by.
