Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on June 29, 2026

According to the data from the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination, and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.11 μSv/h, in Gomel are 0.12 μSv/h, which corresponds to the natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.49 μSv/h and 0.19 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the long-term established values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
