Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on June 23, 2026

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel are 0.11 μSv/h, which correspond to natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.47 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term average values and are attributable to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
The results of gamma radiation dose rate measurements from the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are presented on the website https://rad.org.by.
