Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on August 24, 2026

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Gomel are 0.11 µSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.12 µSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, which corresponds to established long-term values and is due to the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
