Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on April 7, 2026

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable and unchanged.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, and Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Mogilev – 0.11 µSv/h, and in Gomel – 0.12 µSv/h, which correspond to the natural radiation background levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.43 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, respectively. These levels correspond to established long-term values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
The measurement results of the gamma radiation dose rate at the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are available on the website https://rad.org.by.
