Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on 5-12 September, 2024
According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged from September 5 to September 12, 2024.
The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno are 0.10 µSv/hour (10 µR/hour), in Gomel and Mogilev – 0.11 µSv/hour (11 µR/hour) which corresponds to established long-term values.
Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rate are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.55 µSv/hour (55 µR/hour), Slavgorod – 0.18 µSv/hour (18 µR/hour).
