According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable and unchanged.
As of December 17, 2025, the dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Mogilev – 0.12 µSv/h, which corresponds to the established long–term values.
Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rates are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin - 0.43 µSv/h, Slavgorod – 0.18 µSv/h.
