Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from May 14 to May 21, 2026)

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control, and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from May 14 to May 21, 2026, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in the cities of Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno and Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, and in the cities of Gomel and Mogilev are 0.11 μSv/h, which corresponds to natural background radiation levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.46 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively. These levels correspond to the established long-term values and are a consequence of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
The measurement results of gamma radiation dose rates from the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are available on the website: https://rad.org.by.
