Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from June 25 to July 2, 2026)

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination, and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from June 25 to July 2, 2026, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel and Mogilev are 0.11 μSv/h, which corresponds to the natural radiation background values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term average values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
