Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from July 23 to July 30, 2026)

According to the data from the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control, and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from July 23 to July 30, 2026, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Gomel and Mogilev are 0.11 µSv/h, which correspond to the natural radiation background values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term average values and are due to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
