Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from July 2 to July 9, 2026)

According to the data of the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from 2 July to 9 July 2026, the radiation situation in the Republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno and Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Gomel and Mogilev are 0.11 µSv/h, which corresponds to the natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term values and are caused by the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
